Eyebrow loss, sparse eyebrows, unwanted eyebrow shape
Change the shape or contour of the eyebrows to create higher arches, longer eyebrows or to add volume.
Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing technique that utilizes a configuration of needles affixed to a handle to manually create lines that resemble eyebrow hairs. With this hand tool, color is tattooed into the dermis of the skin. The pigment used is formulated to match your eyebrow color and will blend into original eyebrows, if present. Initially, your brows will appear darker; however, this will fade slightly over a two-week period. While pigments do fade over time, it is impossible to predict exactly how much pigment will fade and how long it will take to do so. Fading time depends on the skill and technique of your artist as well as how you, as the patient, take care of your skin.
Our nurse and permanent cosmetics specialist, Jan Wiseman, LPN, has been tattooing eyebrows for over 20 years. She has extensive training in both micropigmentation and microblading techniques which allows her to tailor your treatment.
