INTRACel™ microneedling uses tiny, insulated microneedles to precisely deliver radio frequency (RF) energy below the surface of your skin, to stimulate the production of collagen. The RF energy is able to penetrate into deeper layers of the skin while leaving the surface layers protected, making this treatment safe and effective for all skin types. This procedure is effective at treating fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, skin laxity, stretch marks, surgical scars and more.
After preparing the skin with a topical numbing cream, each treatment lasts typically 30-45 minutes. Most patients report little to no discomfort and leave with some mild redness and warmth that usually resolves within 24-48 hours. For best results, 3 treatments are recommended, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Initial results are usually seen 6-8 weeks after the first treatment, with improved results continuing over several months.
