For patients whose acne scars may be more pronounced and/or deep, our Vanish Acne Treatment may be the preferred course of action. While the procedure is more invasive than a standalone laser treatment or microneedling, the results speak for themselves.
The treatment involves the subcision of acne scars, releasing dermal scar bands in order to improve the appearance of acne scarring. This subcision is performed in combination with laser resurfacing to further improve upon the appearance of acne scarring.
