How the Treatment Works

Most patients need 6 to 8 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. The exact number of treatments you need depends on the thickness and density of the hair as well as the size and location of the area being treated.
This treatment is not effective at removing red, light blonde, or gray hair. It can be done on all skin tones.
Immediately after the treatment, the skin will look pink and slightly swollen, similar to a sunburn, and raised red bumps (similar to mosquito bites) will appear. This will subside within 72 hours, and the skin will return to normal.

Following each treatment in a series, you will notice less hair growing back in an area, and the hair that does regrow is often finer and softer than before.
