Her passion for aesthetics shines through in her work, as she is dedicated to supporting the team and ensuring every customer receives the best experience possible.

Mischelle is a seasoned medical aesthetician and laser specialist with nearly two decades of experience. She began her journey in 2005 at the Milan Institute in Napa Valley and later completed advanced courses at the California Skin Institute.

Her diverse career includes roles as a skincare therapist in luxury spas, an educator, and a studio owner. In 2012, she joined Morpheus Medical Aesthetics, where her passion for medical aesthetics flourished. Since 2015, Mischelle has been part of the Medical Aesthetics team in Traverse City, earning certifications in advanced procedures like Halo hybrid laser, BBL phototherapy, and Morpheus 8 RF.

Mischelle believes in the transformative power of self-care and is dedicated to helping each patient achieve their highest quality of self-care at Copper Aesthetics.

With over two decades of experience as a Mary Kay Consultant since 2001, Tina is deeply passionate about skincare and helping patients achieve their skincare goals. Her expertise and dedication ensure that each patient receives personalized care and attention, making their experience at our clinic both enjoyable and rewarding.

Tracy brings a decade of experience from The Center for Plastic Surgery and Copper Aesthetics. Her primary role involves coordinating surgeries, yet she also passionately promotes our medical spa, guiding patients to explore our comprehensive treatment options. Tracy’s dedication to aesthetics shines through as she assists patients in achieving their goals with exceptional customer service at the forefront of her mission.

Bridget serves as our Front Desk Administrator, the warm welcome and first point of contact for our office. She is dedicated to ensuring everyone feels welcomed and at ease from the moment they arrive. Bridget is passionate about helping all individuals to feel comfortable and confident when they visit the practice.

Denise is a dedicated medical aesthetician and laser specialist who brings a wealth of experience to the practice. With a background as a medical assistant for many years, she has a deep understanding of patient care and a keen eye for detail. In 2018, Denise made the transition to aesthetics, following her passion for skincare and beauty by attending the Douglas J Aveda Institute. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in aesthetics, Denise offers a range of cutting-edge treatments to help her clients look and feel their best. From laser procedures and skincare treatments, she tailors each service to meet the unique needs of every individual.

Kennedy has honed her customer service skills in various roles, including at a salon, over the past few years. Her positive attitude and love for aesthetics make her a valuable asset to our team, ensuring every patient receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. Eager to grow professionally, she aspires to become a provider in the aesthetic industry, driven by her passion for helping others achieve their aesthetic goals.

Dr. Jeffries holds board certification in Plastic Surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an esteemed member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the largest organization representing plastic surgeons nationwide.

Additionally, he has achieved Fellowship status in The American College of Surgeons (FACS), an esteemed institution dedicated to enhancing surgical patient care and upholding ethical standards in surgical practice. Dr. Jeffries undergoes rigorous testing and reviews to attain and uphold his FACS designation.

Having completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Indiana University (IU) in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Jeffries possesses specialized training in microsurgery. He further enhanced his expertise by undergoing additional training in breast reconstruction from pioneers in Ghent, Belgium, in June 2009, subsequently bringing these advanced techniques to Northern Michigan.

Dr. Jeffries earned his medical degree and completed his General Surgery residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, which included trauma surgery at The Detroit Receiving Hospital. His academic background also includes an undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Virginia.

For the convenience of his patients, Dr. Jeffries maintains affiliations with Munson Medical Center, Copper Ridge Surgery Center, Charlevoix Area Hospital, and McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

Kendra joined Copper Aesthetics in 2023, working mostly with our Master Injector, Karen, but also supporting the rest of the Copper Aesthetics team to make sure their days run smoothly! Kendra is passionate about aesthetics and enjoys helping clients meet their goals as well as working with the skin care team.

Ania joined the Copper Aesthetics team in 2023 and has over 10 years of experience in providing laser and aesthetic services. Ania is a certified clinical trainer for Cartessa lasers and enjoys building relationships with her clients and her coworkers. She is highly trained and well versed in all aesthetic and laser services we offer at Copper Aesthetics.

Kenzie obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, she began working in the medical field and was introduced to the aesthetics industry while living in Colorado. There, she attended The College of International Esthetics, which included training on traditional aesthetic procedures as well as a wide variety of laser treatments. Her passion continues to be performing cosmetic laser treatments that improve skin tone, texture, and overall skin health, as well as slow and correct the visible signs of aging.

I aim to build trusting and lasting relationships with my clients, and to help them not only achieve their goals, but maintain them with an individualized treatment regimen. Stephanie is a highly skilled medical aesthetician and laser technician with a passion for skincare and beauty. Stephanie attended Douglas J Aveda Institute’s Aesthetician program in 2012 where she honed her craft and developed a deep understanding of aesthetics followed by a Clinical Health Maintenance internship at the Blue Heron Academy where she was further educated on the biological structure and function of the skin, medical skin care procedures and professional practices used in medical spas. Since then, she has dedicated her time to mastering the latest technologies and techniques in the field and has achieved certifications in Sciton lasers, HydraFacial, Morphues8 radiofrequency microneedling, and has become a Master CoolSculpting Specialist.

Copper Aesthetics welcomed Megan to the team in 2023. She began her nursing career in Labor and Delivery and subsequently underwent extensive training in neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Megan is an active volunteer in the community and has enjoyed transitioning into the world of aesthetics.

I love designing individual treatment plans to increase my patient’s self-confidence and to leave them feeling like the best versions of themselves. Haley joined The Center for Plastic Surgery in 2016 as a Registered Nurse assisting in-office procedures and pre- and post-operative plastic surgery visits. She became a CoolSculpting Specialist in 2017 and furthered her training to become a CoolSculpting Master a year later. In 2022, Haley trained extensively to be an Injection Specialist and transitioned to a fully aesthetic provider for Copper Aesthetics.

Karen is a certified Physician Assistant and has been a Master Injector at The Center for Plastic Surgery and Copper Aesthetics since 2006. She has experience working in the operating room with our plastic surgeons, seeing patients post-operatively, and has an eye for facial aesthetics. Karen transitioned to a full-time aesthetic injector in 2018 to fully pursue her passion in aesthetics.
